Job Description

As Technology Lead (f/m/x), this position is an architect-level role focused on using NAS products in large, enterprise customer environments and those with demanding use cases. The mission of this role is to ensure the customers technical requirements are: * Explored, understood, and captured to ensure that the proposed architecture will meet their needs * Translated into solutions that will be successfully implemented and that will ensure repeat business. This position needs to be an expert in large-scale NAS architecture/use cases including performance sizing/issues, data migration strategies, user authentication, and multi-protocol (NFS, SMB, & S3) access. -> You love this job but feel you cannot tick 100% of the boxes Send us your CV anyway! Your key responsibilities

  • Conduct discovery workshops with customers to identify business objectives, document use cases/requirements and operational constraints
  • Develop high-level architectural alternatives, review with customers, and deliver (written) design plans to meet the customers needs (especially "at scale") and includes considerations of special phases of the project (e.g., migration, operational cut-over)for project implementation teams to follow
  • Develop help plan and conduct technical demos and Proof of Concepts (POCs) with the engineers and provide technical information for RFPs/RFIs and act as technical point of escalation for NAS architectural and design decisions
  • Provide technical review for large-scale NAS proposals
  • Liaison with Product Management and Engineering to represent customer/field requirements and resolve specific issues and help train SE teams on NAS technology
Your skills and experiences
  • Deep understanding and multiple years experience on NAS and Object Storage at scale (including multiple-protocol access)
  • Additional experience highly desirable in Backup, Virtualization, Linux CLI, Disaster Recovery/Business Continuance, Database Protection and Recovery
  • Experience in Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Scripting/ automation knowledge is required.
