Job Description

Technology and Investments (T&I) team is tasked with driving PwCs ambition to be the leading technology-enabled professional services firm.The Commercial Technology Team (CTT) in T&I is made up of innovation specialists, strategists, designers, technologists,product managers and UX specialists who work together with our business leaders to discover, develop and commercialize new technology services and products. The teams main focus is on solving problems through the use of technology and it uses a range of technologyinnovation methods, approaches and our Frontier spaces to do this. We are looking for an experienced Manager or Senior Manager who can educate, inspire and influence people into incorporating technology into client opportunities. It will suit someone froma strong technical background who enjoys showcasing the potential uses of technology and articulating the business benefits. Someone who can build technology confidence in others, as the expectation for our staff to include technology as part of client opportunitiescontinually increases.Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Proactively build relationships with people from across our Lines of Service (LoS) to help them imagine new ways to use technology in their value propositions. Grow the understandingof the potential of technology across different audiences (semi-technical and non-technical) to surface new use cases and generate new demand for technology. Design, drive and deliver interactive workshops, showcase sessions and other engaging methods to buildawareness and understanding of technology. Increase awareness of high potential technology through presentations, blogs, social media and community building. Provide strategic technical insight and expertise to problems and ideas coming through the innovationprocess. Enable others to have confidence and build skill in evangelising their own technology. Establish a consistent approach to sharing and embedding new ways to use technology in our client offerings. Undertake technical assessments of untapped and newtechnologies that would benefit from increased awareness. Drive the enablement of new technology through removal of adoption blockers. Gather feedback from audiences, key people or relevant communities on potential improvements to the underlying technology.Skillsand experience Breadth of technical knowledge. Working and practical knowledge of modern and emerging technologies (e.g. Cloud, Power BI, Alteryx, Mendix, Low Code, Advanced analytics) and confidence in forming and justifying technical options and recommendations.Strong written and verbal communication abilities and comfortable with public speaking. Ability to explain complex topics clearly, creatively and concisely and in ways that resonate with different audiences. Passion, curiosity and a continual drive to learnabout technology and its potential. Collaboration and ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders. Self-starter who is motivated to go above and beyond the task at hand.
