Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: This role will be a mixture of field and office based help desk work for our IT customers. You will also assist in supporting and evolving the internal IT platform. As part of the role you will also be expected to make recommendationson solutions for customers and take an active role in configuration and deployment of kit. You may also be asked to get involved in wider converged solutions for group. The majority of the role will involve providing technical support at differing levels toour customer base either on the phone or via a site visit. Providing excellent customer service is something that differentiates Arrow from other organisations and this must be something that you enjoy. CANDIDATE: The role will be as a member of our technicalIT team, the candidate must be able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team. They will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external customers. The role could be filled by someone with good technicalskills willing to learn new technologies. Ideally, this person will have strong SharePoint skills at their core. With history of implementation, support and migration in a SharePoint environment gained over at least two years.
