Job Description

Technical Support AssistantSalary: £25,000 pa We are an established flexible office space provider of nearly 20 years that supplies offices to more than 140 business across 7 buildings and are looking to recruit a Technical Support Assistant that will be based predominantly in our office in West London. Duties The role includes a wide range of responsibilities: the primary function is to provide technical support to the team and its clients and in addition, we are looking to provide training to allow the candidate to produce 2D and3D floorplans for use as marketing materials, making use of software packages such as CAD and V-ray.Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Troubleshooting internal PC, printer and network issues with assistance from our PC support provider
  • Troubleshooting clients network and telephony issues with assistance from our network and telephony support providers
  • Producing 2D and 3D floorplans for use as marketing materialsResolving issues with the buildings technical systems such as access control and CCTV
  • Handling and housekeeping of new users including requesting changes to SharePoint permissions
  • Being involved in all major IT and Telecoms projects across the portfolio.
  • Providing technical training for new starters
  • Monitoring and internally communicating potential cyberthreats to the Airivo Team and providing awareness training
  • Managing backups and recoveries for all systems
  • Providing information relating to telecoms billing & procurement matters
  • Provide backup support to Centre Teams by way of admin support or reception cove
Competencies Overall, the candidate must have strong technical capabilities and be able to troubleshoot IT and network issues at a basic level. Although no formal training or prior knowledge of the business-specific systems thatare in place is required (full training will be provided), the successful candidate will have the capacity to learn and engage with all the various platforms and systems. The candidate must have:A positive approach and good customer facing skillsA goodknowledge of Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power PointA familiarity with IT networking (firewalls, switches and ethernet devices)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsGood organisational skills with the abilityto manage deadlines and prioritise tasksA flexible approach to working from other centre locations as require
