Senior Solutions Architect - Hybrid role 3 days office 2 from home London or Peterborough offices.Permanent - £75,000 - £90,000 Main purpose of the role: This is a rare opportunity provide technical governance and leadership for a large and complicated technology transformation within a global environment.Key activities are: To drive and facilitate the company-wide technology transformation initiative. Be accountable for technical leadership and advice for multiple projects ensuring that solutions are aligned to best practices and business needs. As a senior member of the architecture review board, you will define, document, and provide architectural governance to projects. Provide proactive engagement across the internal IT estate identifying initiatives, improvements and risks which support continuous improvement of platforms and capabilities. Create architectures, strategies, policies, roadmaps, and patterns that support the business in delivering value.Knowledge and experience: Essential Experience as a Solution Architect responsible for the entire delivery lifecycle. Excellent business stakeholder engagement, and relationship management. Enterprise scale solutions involving COTS software products alongside inhouse solutions. Domain experience with WMS, ERP, CRM, PSA, or CPQ platforms. Experience with DevOps, IAC and Kubernetes based platforms on Azure. Experience with modern data integration, governance & reporting platforms. Strong understanding of the application of Zero-Trust security principles.Desirable TOGAF experience or similar Enterprise Architecture framework. Experience with Hybrid Cloud networking design and security. Providing technical governance through an Architecture Review Board process. Project / Programme Management experience. Familiarity and experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS. Experience in overseeing the engagement with 3rd party vendors. Computing related Degree / Education. Holds industry-recognised expert level technical qualifications.Personal Attributes:  Self-organising and able to prioritise effectively to maximise value delivered. Passionate about technology and the impact it can have on delivering positive business outcomes. Positive attitude that inspires and influences others to make good decisions and be successful. Ability to question constructively and present a perspective backed up by a logical rationale. Excellent verbal and written communication skills that project credibility and quality. Ability to work effectively and remain calm under pressure. Willingness to travel to UK based sites (and International sites on an infrequent basis)."In applying for this position, you consent to your personal data being shared with the specified employer and for your details to remain with GTS for as long as is necessary to process your application.
