Job Description

The TPM role is responsible for technical delivery, technical decision making and engineering budget, managing technology vendors and suppliers to ensure business outcomes are met.

  • Expansion of the IBM Open Pages / GRC Platforms to operate as the point of convergence for all non-financial risks, controls, issues, actions, events and regulatory mapping.
  • Automated integration across all non-financial risk systems enables a fully connected system of record with the capability to generate assessments.
  • Preventative control mechanisms to "design out" the risk of data quality issues.
  • Workflow, alerts and notification mechanisms to "design in" 1LOD and 2LOD accountabilities and timely system recording.
  • Modernisation, simplification and automation at the user interface for non-financial risk recording to enable ease of use and data capture.
  • Meeting regulatory obligations whilst driving the Clients strategy of Cloud First.
  • Ensure DevOps processes and standards are improved and adhered to by building high-performing teams and developing talent.
Key Role Requirements:
  • Strong technology background, such as experience with scalable distributed applications.
  • Managing teams involved with IBM OpenPages or application development such as Java.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing, autonomous engineering teams.
  • Agile and DevOps working practices and delivery expertise, such as Sprints and Epics.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with senior leaders across the business.
  • Track record in influencing technology decisions and integrating systems.
  • Managing crisis and major incidents effecting global systems and stakeholders.
  • Effectively managing vendors such as IBM and global system integrators.
  • Ensuring that test strategies are undertaken and security standards adhered to.
  • Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements such as Financial Compliance, Operational Risk Management, Model Risk Management and Regulatory Change Management.
