Job Description

The candidate will have product experience that focuses on traditional capital markets platforms such as execution management systems, order management systems, exchanges and if possible DLT/Blockchain technologies and products. They should also have thoroughknowledge of the end-to-end equity and FX trading lifecycles. The ideal applicant will bring previous experience of building scalable mission critical market data financial systems.Role Requirements

  • Youre happy to delve into and be involved in the detail
  • 3+ Years experience within capital markets, developing trading software at scale
  • Highly analytical, flexible and a creative problem solver
  • Strong knowledge and experience of product development and management principles including. agile methodologies, user-based testing, UX/UI
  • Experience of Market Data and FIX Connectivity preferred.
  • Experience using JIRA and working with User Stories
Desirable
  • Worked with Execution Management Systems (EMS), Order Management System (OMS), or Portfolio Management Systems (PMS)
  • Experience of developing SaaS products
  • Knowledge of market data platforms and real time systems
  • Blockchain
  • Crypto and Digital Assets
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the product team and stakeholders to help define and manage product across the firm
  • Create detailed and specific user stories
  • Oversee the delivery of the product, working with a remote team of developers to ensure that the teams deliver to agreed success criteria and timelines
  • Work with PMs on establishing KPIs at the start of a project which can be used to measure project effectiveness post go live. Ensures the communication of results to team and stakeholders are clear and insightful, communicating decisions/recommendationsto optimise or stop new epics/features.
  • Develop, enhance, and continuously improve the product management capability of the organization
  • Develop a strong partnership with the development team to deliver high quality products, features, enhancements, and fixes at pace
  • Ensure the right balance is struck between developing new features, resolving technical debt and fixing defects
  • Stakeholder engagement and project reporting to ensure that expectations and risks are managed effectively
  • Assist in backlog grooming and management
