Job Description

Successful international very innovative and ambitious Luxury & Vegan Skincare brand is looking to recruit a French speaking Technical Product Development and Scientific Communication Manager. You will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle. The Technical Product Development Manager will report to the CEO based in London.IMMEDIATE STARTROLE of the Technical Product Manager:

  • Defining the technical and formulation of the product
  • Sourcing and managing R&D suppliers/partners and activities
  • Coordination work between internal services: R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Production, Logistics
  • Working closely with engineering, labs and manufacturing
  • Managing product launch plan.
  • Ensuring that product/category are delivered to cost, quality and time, working with financial controller for stock and budgets.
  • Monitoring cosmetics trends
  • Coordinating all of the activities required to bring the product to market together with the operation team
  • Preparing scientific, legal, production files
  • Managing scientific communication of the brand
  • Creating marketing and communication tools
  • Liaising regularly with the CEO for brand vision, with operations and logistic teams
    • PROFILE:
  • Fluent French and English, another language will be an asset, ideally Chinese
  • Engineering degree in Biology/Biotechnology/Chemistry/Biochemistry, ideally with a major in cosmetics marketing
  • Must have previous experience within Beauty, Cosmetics, Skincare as a Cosmetic Chemist/Product Technologist/Product Development Technologist/Technical Product Manager/Product Development manager/ Development Chemist/Quality Manager/Quality Assurance Manager or similar
  • And must be passionate about biology, health/beauty/luxe industries
  • Strong project management skills and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and maintain keen attention to detail
  • Ability to build excellent relationship with teams, as well as external parties, including press and retailers
    • SALARY:£40k negotiable according to skills and experience Required skills
