Job Description

Trustmarque apart of Capita is looking for a Pre-Sales Technical Architect - Homebased role with occasional travel.The Presales Solution Architect for Modern Workplace is a new multi faceted presales role withing the Trustmarque Modern workplace team.The role has responsibility for driving the end-to-end revenue and margin for solutions and services that help customers create a new digital workplace,to meet the demands of a mobile workforce and enhance business productivity.This includes achieving goals of maximising vendor incentives from cloud consumption and attaching higher margin services to our product sales, particularly the sale of Trustmarque Professional and Managed Services.ResponsibilitiesThe main responsibilities are detailed below,although the role holder would also be expected to perform any other duties which might reasonably be required by the business.

  • Drive greater margin and opportunity by utilising up-to-date knowledge of the latest productivity, mobility,desktop,communication and collaboration products,services&solutions,cloud adoption strategies, vendor offerings,and customer needs to identify,develop and market-test new propositions
  • Champion the Modern Workplace offering within Trustmarque,training and coaching sales staff to raise awareness and understanding,in order to increase the identification of relevant opportunities
  • Provide strategies,ideas,and collateral for sales
  • Cross-train and mentor others within the Services & Solutions team to facilitate cross-selling
  • Produce externally publishable content in collaboration with Marketing,demonstrating thought leadership and enhancing the reputation and profile of Trustmarque
  • Provide suggestions and improvements to processes and propositions withinTrustmarque,and assist in implementation where required
  • Deliver external presentations to vendors,partners & customers,conveying our propositions,value-add and the benefits of working with Trustmarque
  • Lead the production of bids and proposals for complex customer solutions,working across Trustmarque teams, liaising with partners & other parts of Capita where needed
  • Knowledge Essential:
  • A thorough understanding of end-user productivity, mobility,desktop,communication and collaboration solutions and the challenges and needs that customers have in this area.
  • A good high level understanding of the Microsoft Modern Workplace technology suite (including but not limited to, Windows 10, SCCM, Intune, Azure AD, SharePoint, Power Platform) and how it can be used to meet customer challenges
  • In addition to a high level understanding of Microsoft Modern workplace technologies it is expected that candidates will have deeper knowledge and experience of atleast one of the following 3 focus areas
  • Microsoft End user Compute Technologies, including Windows 10 deployment and security, Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and the broader EMS Suite
  • Microsoft Business Productivity Technologies including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams,Yammer and the broader Office 365 suite.
  • Business App Technologies within the Power Platform suite including PowerApps, PowerBI,Power Automate,Dataverse,and knowledge of methodologies such as Lean process improvement.
