Avanti Recruitment have a Technical Lead position available with a great client of ours in London developing software for UGV’s and Robotics.Youll head up a team of talented developers working on some game-changing tech for autonomous ground vehicles and this will be a fully hands-on role where you’ll be working with your team on developing solutions, coding daily and also working with the leadership team to play a key role in architectural conversations, requirements analysis, promoting high standards of code with your team and championing test-driven development. You’ll also be mentoring less experienced Engineers, assessing and appraising their quality of work and set targets around this.You’ll likely have Lead-level Engineering experience but an experienced Senior Engineer looking for a step up would also suit this role well.Skills and experienceYou’ll need:Deep knowledge of both C++ and PythonGood understanding of ROSIn-depth knowledge and experience developing software for robotics, UAV’s or autonomous vehicles.A background in computer vision, deep learning, perception SLAM or navigation is essentialNice to have:Background working in Agile, test-driven development environmentsYoull be joining a company that have gone from strength to strength this year despite the pandemic and who have significant growth carefully planned over the next 24 months with loads of proper research and design work, high profile, big budget projects and plenty of progression available too (they are looking for people to grow with the company).Interested Click the apply button now or contact Dave at Avanti Recruitment for further information.
