Our Applications Programming - Practice Support team helps translate PwCs business requirements through efficient and effective Information Technology software applications. We design, develop, test, and implement sophisticated software applications in support of the firms needs and requirements. Basic Qualifications:Minimum Degree Required: High School DiplomaMinimum Years of Experience: 6 year(s) of progressive roles focused on managing information technology applications and its overall impact on business strategies and productivity. Preferred Qualifications:Degree Preferred: Bachelor DegreePreferred Fields of Study: Computer Applications, Computer Programming Preferred Knowledge/Skills:Demonstrates intimate knowledge, technical understanding and success in improving and managing the productivity of technology and business processes by creating automated workflows including:Understanding of Lean IT principles and data driven approaches;Having experience with Script languages and automation (e.g. Python, Ruby, JScript, VBscript, Bash, Powershell, Google Apps Script, Groovy);Possessing knowledge of Cloud infrastructure and container-based deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift);Being able to implement Modern web application development (e.g. AngularJS, NodeJS, Python, CSS3, Boostrap);Utilizing NoSQL databases (e.g. DocumentDB, Cloud Datastore, MongoDB, Casandra, etc.);Using REST API design and creation (e.g. Spring-WebMVC, Jersey);Leveraging experience of API management (e.g. Computer Associates Layer 7, Azure API Management, Google Cloud Endpoints);Using and navigating Cloud-based platforms and services (e.g. Google Cloud Platform, MS Azure, AWS, OpenAPI, Swagger, Apigee);Optimizing Continuous integration/continuous deployment (e.g. Git, Jenkins, TFS, Puppet, Chef, Maven, Gradie, Ant);Having knowledge of Containers - Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift;Understanding of Serverless: AWS Lambda, Cloud Functions;Conducting Unit testing using JUnit, NUnit and related tools;Using Data Integration Tools (SSIS, Informatica, API Management, Enterprise Service Bus, Microsoft BizTalk, and Rules Engine);Having an understanding of Source control using one of Git, Subversion, TFS; andManaging Enterprise Application Integration and Identity Management (IdAM), (oAuth2).
