UK REMOTE ROLEAbout the CompanyOur Client is the leading multi-enterprise product and supply chain platform connecting retailers, brands, suppliers, and their supply chain partners to bring great products to market faster, more efficiently, and at higher marginsPosition DescriptionThe Technical Lead will provide technical and integration solutions in support of the companys product and delivery strategy.Key Functions and Responsibilities:* Partner with customers IT organizations and professional services to design and implement integrations, business rules and other technical solutions.* Design integration specifications, develop data strategy and high level data architecture documentation* Leads integration design sessions for customers, demonstrating the integration capabilities of the platform.* Work closely with customer and implementation team members in the definition and execution of test scripts* Provides advice to Customers regarding best practices, technical implementation and deployment methodologies.* Prepare process, installation, operating procedure and user/trainer training documentation.* Conduct design architecture reviews, gap analysis and assessment when required* Participates in the Sales process (new and existing customers), providing Technical Architect support in the sales, scoping and SOW process.* Provides advice to Customers regarding best practices, implementation and deployment methodologies.* Ensures knowledge transfer with key project team and customer team members.* Ability to interface with all levels of the organization to make recommendations which will assist teams so that projects will be delivered within the companys Solution point of view.* Strong proactive communicator and presenter, able to influence and collaborate at all levels of an organization to maximize problem resolution while effectively presenting information and responding to questions.* Anticipates problems and recommend innovative solutions.*Mentor and develop team members.* Track and maintain required billability % and proactively address issues with reporting manager.* Proactively manage expectations with colleagues, users, clients and partners.Required Qualifications:* Minimum of a Bachelor Degree preferably in Computer Science, Masters or MBA preferred* Demonstrated performance in Integration solution design using various Integration Architecture patterns* Must be able to effectively document technical design, issues/defects and solutions* Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills* Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and facilitation skills* Ability to work effectively at all organizational levels* Ability to lead, coach, mentor and train* Demonstrated knowledge in Java, Oracle, SQL, XSL/XML and Web Services - REST and SOAP, Tomcat and Web Sphere servers.* Experience working with at least one of middleware tools such as Oracle Fusion , Web Methods, Microsoft BizTalk, Informatica is a definite plus..*Familiarity with some or all of these technologies is a plus : Business rules engine , Apache Camel, Altova MapForce , reporting FOP or POI reports*Industry experience with SaaS technologies, deployment and support* Retail / consumer products experience is a definite plusBright Executive Recruitment is acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
