Job Description

Technical Energy Consultant £45,000 - £50,000 London - Hybrid working Cobalt has partnered with one of the most reputable properties companies who are known to have a strong and progressive ESG & Sustainability team. Due to expansion this newly created Energy Consultant role will be working across some key strategies in zerocarbon strategies in ensuring net zero targets are metKey Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for carrying out energy surveys and delivering sustainability services of a technical nature; including EPC certificates
  • Review energy profiles, assess performance, generating insights and reporting
  • Contribute to wider engagement with department heads, keeping them updated of the latest developments and opportunities for their clients
  • Provide general energy/carbon related support on EPC/EPC Plus & MEES, ESOS, Operational Energy savings, sustainability reporting and certification, tenant engagement, ISO14001 & ISO50001
  • Support assets undergoing assessments as necessary, including BREEAM & NABERS
  • Provide proactive support in the development of pitch / bid material and conduct presentations surrounding its content
  • Build relationships with existing and new stakeholders in order to identify opportunities and assist in securing future business for the company
Key Requirements:
  • Sound knowledge of energy services and experience conducting energy audits
  • Looking to undertake studies to become EPC Level 5 assessor
  • Practical experience delivering operational energy savings within existing companies and properties
  • Working towards a professional qualification CIBSE, IEMA is desirable but not essential
  • Good communication and stakeholder management
