Job Description

Technical Director of Energy - Central LondonCTJ1069Salary negotiable based on experience Permanent This is a really exciting time for someone to join a London based consultancy that will play a crucial part in Englands management and use of Energy. You will work closely with the major of London to help achieve challenges that we face due to climate changeand you will manage and develop less experienced consultants within the company. If you have experience at this level or at a similar level, then please apply below.The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a sound knowledge of renewable and low carbon technologies
  • Have experience within a financial and sustainability role
  • Have previously worked with clients and suppliers and developed client-customer relationships
  • Be based in the UK with a full driving licence
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for picking up relationships with partner companies to ensure delivery on current contracts - including the London Mayors Business Climate Challenge with Turner and Townsend
  • Provide innovative solutions to clients and the company to help with development and progression
  • Manage a large group of employees and oversee their development within the company
  • leading our energy services to include energy audits and strategic energy planning
  • Use exiting contacts and develop new contacts in larger consultancies (including but not limited to Turner and Townsend, Capita, LSH, Arcadis, WSP) to create partner opportunities across our service lines
  • Develop our service lines from recent London based projects to create joint opportunities with partners or where feasible develop relationships to develop and grow the Business Climate Challenge (targeted auditing with energy reduction strategies and trainingoffered) propositions
  • Develop relationships with Local Authority clients for strategic energy-based projects and consultancy services
