Job Description

Technical Development Team Leader London£600-£650 Per Day6 Months Contract The Client:My client is a leading Public sector Organisations who are looking for a Technical Development Team Leader to lead and mentor a small team of developers.Your Role:You will lead and mentor a small of 6 developers to develop, and support applications to scheme requirements, within a formal team structure. You will lead the technical development of projects and assist in the management of the development team, You willline manage the Software Developers and Automation Testers.You will support implementation of new technologies, and research into strategic new technologies.You will work closely with the Delivery Manager and Product Manager, providing a technical and application perspective throughout the project lifecycle and product lifecycle.You will suggest and implement improvements to the application development process, such as continuous integration, automation of build, deploy and test etc.What you will need to succussed:

  • You will have Substantial expertise as a Microsoft Software Developer
  • (Lead )Essential skills and proven expertise in the following technologies:
  • Microsoft .NET (C#)
  • SQL Server Development
  • Net MVC
  • Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Continuous Integration, build and deployment automation
  • Knowledge and experience of:
  • Object-Oriented Design
  • Development techniques and design patterns
  • Agile Methodologies
  • Relational database design
  • SQL Stored procedures
  • Unit Test Frameworks and Tools (Nunit, Moq, etc)
  • Version Control tools and workflows (TFS, GIT)
  • (Lead) Demonstrable expertise of collaborative working with team members and key stakeholders
  • Some previous line management experience
