You will be working in cross functional teams together with strategists, full-stack, front end and back-end, developers, testers, dev ops, UI user experience designers. As a business analyst we seek you to be the babelfish between business communities to translate customers requirements into viable solutions. We successfully orchestrate the delivery and running of products throughout their lifecycle uniting people and processes to ensure solutions meet business need. As a Technical business analyst wed like you to: • Conduct in depth technical analysis to articulate requirements to support backend development or data quality and governance best practice. • Work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution • Knowledge to support platform specific requirements i.e., Mule soft, Low code. • Ability to produce API swagger definitions. Data modelling, Entity relationship definitions, and Technical appraisals including nonfunctional and performance related to support the business requirements and needs. • Champion the need for clear acceptance criteria and non-functional testing requirements working closely with the test and end users. • Be tenacious and when needed have the ability to confidently, challenge the why and the so what. While also having strong core BA skills to: • Know agile methodologies (e.g. Kanban, Disciplined Agile and/or or ICAgile, SAFe, XP, Scrum) • Be confident in presenting business stakeholders the impact of technology decisions and be able to relate this to the product map and vision. • Support the product owner with the upkeep of the backlog and identification of value increments. • Facilitate elaboration and continuous conversation with the scrum team to ensure agility, quality and appreciation of the bigger picture to deliver to changing needs Experience of design and implementation of market-leading packages is highly desirable: • Commerce (Oracle ATG, Hybris, IBM WebSphere Commerce Server or similar) • Search and merchandising (Oracle Endeca, Fredhopper or similar) • Content management (Adobe CQ, OpenText ECM, Oracle WebCenter or similar) • Order management (IBM Sterling Order Management, Manhattan Order Lifecycle Management or similar) • Product information management (Hybris, Heiler, Stibo or similar) • Digital asset management (Adobe CQ, OpentText Media Management, Oracle WebCenter or similar) Your work, your choice At Deloitte we believe the best impact is the value we add, not the hours we sit at our desk. Location Join Our South West Team Located in the heart of Bristol, a top 10 city in Europe for tech, you will be joining a team that will comprise of analysts, creative designers, front-end engineers, solution engineers and testers, that will provide creative digital and technology services for our clients in the South West and beyond. Work pattern This is a permanent contract opportunity. The role can be worked on a full-time basis. Our team members work a variety of agile working patterns. Your professional experience • Take the lead on running workshops, gathering requirements to help solve some of the most exciting problems for our clients • Partner with iconic brands, translating requirements into documented criteria and deliverables • Scope and plan the management of client projects • Take ownership of project review and release documents • Working with developers and design teams to clarify requirements • Collaborate with amazing digital experts across disciplines to innovate and deliver digital solutions • Build strong relationships with end-users to gather functional and technical requirements, to help solve some of the most exciting problems for our clients • Work with clients to identify and define business priorities based on their current challenges • Embed yourself within the team to develop as-is assessments and develop target-state visions and roadmaps • Assess the scale and business or change impacts that will arise as a result of any new solutions (focused on people, processes, data and technology) • Deliver change management as part of any new implementation of technologies • Demonstrate an appetite to continuously improve processes and ways of working • Collaborate with developers and design teams to clarify requirements and with amazing digital experts across disciplines to innovate and deliver digital solutions • Work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution • Actively contribute to the Product and Delivery Guild as well as your Business Analysis craft.
