Job Description

Join us as a Technical Business Analyst

What youll doYoull be facilitating sessions to define solutions and deliver elements of systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, or other detailed deliverables. In addition, youll simplify requirements to emphasise the ease of use, while contributing to various project phases, like analysis, design, testing and delivery. Youll also:
  • Write high-quality requirements in Jira and test cases for our test manager
  • Work in collaboration with various subject matter experts from Business, IT and User Experience to come up with requirements that can be delivered by IT
  • Support the IT Dev team and business stakeholders with the analysis of business as usual issues within asset management
  • Build, manage, and maintain a positive working relationship with stakeholders and third-party suppliers across multiple franchises and functions
The skills youll needTo take on this role, youll need to have professional business analysis training, or equivalent, alongside a good knowledge of the end-to-end investment process, across portfolio rebalancing to trading and Forex. Furthermore, youll have an understanding of the needs of multiple stakeholders in the investment space. As well as this, youll have experience in technology or banking, especially asset management or investment management, and Avaloq experience, includingpersonal finance management and STEX. Youll also need:
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to articulate identifications into deliveries
  • Experience of applying business analysis tools and techniques and an understanding of IT and Windows environments
  • Experience of delivering business analysis in a technology or IT function
  • Great stakeholder management, interpersonal and communication skills
  • A background of working with internal and external teams in an international environment
