Job Description

Role: Technical ArchitectLocation: LondonEnd of 2020 - possible extensionDaily Rate: CompetitiveKey Skills and Experience:

  • Infrastructure Architecture experience of predominantly Microsoft Stack (AD, IIS, SQL Server
  • Experience of Server Virtualisation infrastructure design(Hyper V, VM ware)
  • Experience in designing of High Performance compute requirement and in particular sizing/configuration of HPC environment
  • The ability to formulate prototypes, technical and functional solutions to inform the design
  • Deep understanding of technical infrastructure architecture standards, principles and solutions available in the market
  • Infrastructure Design and Strategy for high performance compute environment
  • Implementing technical architecture against Standards, Policies and Procedures
  • Experience of designing and implementing against and outsourced infrastructure support model
  • Understanding server engineering / hardening for security threat mitigation to meet InfoSec requirements
  • Experience in designing environments to meet ISO9001/ISO27001 compliance
  • Highly desirable: Experience of building infrastructure to support Insurance Modelling platforms (Catastrophe Modelling platforms such as RMS/AIR or Capital Modelling platforms - Igloo, Remetrica, Tyche)
    • Additional Requirements:
  • Eligible to work in the UK without the need of visa support/sponsorship
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Essential experience: Financial Services
  • Insurance - London Market - highly desirable
