Job Description

Job Title: Technical Account ManagerLocation: London, United Kingdom (1 day a week in the office)Salary: £90,000 per annumWe seek a highly skilled and motivated Technical Account Manager to join our dynamic team in London. As a Technical Account Manager, you will be crucial in building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, ensuring their success and satisfactionwith our API solutions. This position requires technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for APIs and technology.Responsibilities:

  • Hook into our API and demonstrate its ease of use to clients, showcasing its benefits and opportunities.
  • Discover and explore various APIs to broaden your knowledge and contribute to cross-selling opportunities.
  • Utilize your technical prowess to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise when clients integrate with our API.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, understanding their needs and demonstrating how our API can be tailored to meet their specific requirements.
  • Work closely with Dave Ingle, our expert on the technical side, to leverage his knowledge and ensure seamless integration and support for clients.
  • Gain sufficient knowledge about AMTLS (Application Managed Transport Layer Security) and certificate-based authentication to effectively guide clients in implementing secure API connections.
  • While not required to be an expert in Java development, a basic understanding of Java would be advantageous.
  • Act as a bridge between our clients and our API ecosystem, assisting them in plugging into the system and maximizing its potential.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly grasp and showcase the capabilities of APIs.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with clients.
  • A natural problem solver with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Hands-on experience with API integration, preferably in a technical support or account management role.
  • Familiarity with soundboxes on APIs is a plus, demonstrating your passion for APIs and your willingness to explore new technologies.
  • Knowledge of AMTLS and certificate-based authentication is highly desirable.
  • While not mandatory, a basic understanding of Java would be beneficial.
