Team Manager - Duty and Assessment Team (DAAT)Children, young people and families are at the heart of everything we do at Northamptonshire Childrens Trust.We are a newly established Childrens Trust that delivers childrens social care and targeted earlyhelp services across Northamptonshire. We are building a service basedon empowerment, respect, kindness and compassion side by side with the best and brightest Team Managers.We are currently recruiting an energetic and passionate Team Manager to work in our duty and assessment team to continue and develop a high quality service.Dutyand assessment (DAAT) is the single point of contact for all safeguarding concerns relating to children and young people in Northamptonshire.There are 6 teams within DAAT, each team consists of a Team Manager, Advanced Practitioner, who holds complex casesand supports 5 or 6 Social Workers and a Newly Qualified Social Worker within their team. We collaborate with other professionals to ensure immediate and prompt responses.You will have current Social Work England registration, and previous leadership experiencein a similar role. You will provide leadership to your team, be responsible for allocating and prioritising workloads effectively to ensure the care of the child is paramount, whilst also ensuring you develop your team to provide an effective and efficientservice.
