Historic Royal Palaces is a charity, and our retail sales are key to funding ourwork to preserve the sites in our care.We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Tower Host management team as a Retail Team Leader. Reporting to the Sales Senior Team Leader, you will play an important role in supporting your team to drive sales and service. You will be responsible for leading and motivating the Deputy Team Leader and the store sales team. You will lead on managing your stock levels and support your colleagues to manage the smooth day-to-day running of the department. Excellent people skills areessential, in addition to a proven record of providing excellent customer service and the ability to use your initiative.About youExcellent communication, influencing skills and a passion for customer service are essential in this role. You will be used to multi-tasking and working under pressure, as well as working both cooperatively and independently. You will need to be well-organised,solution-oriented and motivated.You will have the ability to communicate in a clear persuasive manner with both internal and external customers and to develop good working interdepartmental relationships, as well as working across the Tower Host management team, in different areas at timesif required.Retail management experience is essential along with being GCSE-educated (or equivalent).
