Laboratory team leader Excellent opportunity for a Molecular Biology laboratory team leader position within an international scientific testing laboratory.This is a permanent role based in London areaKenton Black Scientific is a recruitment partner to an international Scientific testing laboratory who are looking for a Molecular Biology laboratory team leader to help establish and grow a new COVID testing laboratory. This is a great opportunity to gain experience with a desirable employer, where the successful individual will be managing a team of scientists who will be analysing COVID 19 samples using techniques such as qPCR, RT PCR and PCRKey responsibilities:Oversee all activities within the laboratoryProvide guidance and training to new staff members on techniques such as qPCR, PCRDelegate work and manage team rotaMaintain the quality system in accordance with internal policies.Undertake investigations to ensure effective preventative actions are implementedManage any performance issues occur within the laboratoryEnsure all staff members are complying with company quality standards and proceduresRequirements:Proven experience people management experience within a highly regulated laboratoryExperience in using techniques such as qPCR, PCR and RT-qPCR techniquesAbility to work within a high throughput environmentExcellent leadership experienceExcellent attention to detail Required skills
