An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Team Leader and Programme Manager in Animal Management at Enfield, to lead on our Higher Education route.The successful candidate will be leading, managing and developing the curriculum area withinthe parameters set by the Curriculum Leader and the Director of Studies in Animal Management & Saddlery. The candidate will work collaboratively and innovatively with staff to lead a culture of self-assessment and continuous improvement, promoting high standardsof teaching and learning within the area, and producing high standards of student achievement, progression and value added. The team leader will be teaching on our Higher Education route provision, act as Lead Internal Verifier for it and ensures all qualityassurance procedures are fully complied with. They will be ensuring a high quality of provision in response to student and employer/industry needs and promoting new ways of teaching as part of the role. The team leader will also liaise with external partnersin delivering our Higher Education and Access to Higher Education and.The ideal candidate will have a teaching qualification (PGCE or DTTLS), or willingness to work towards that qualification. A Masters in a science or animal related discipline is essential,and a PhD would be desirable.
