We are seeking a Team Lead (Paediatric Audiology) to manage the Bart’s Paediatric Audiology multi-disciplinary teams, based mainly at Hackney Ark but with a site at The Royal London Hospital. Predominantly a managerial role, there will be a requirement to conduct clinical work.This interesting specialist role will involve working with babies, children and families in our spacious, family-friendly multi-disciplinary centres and taking on the responsibilities of this role within the dynamic working environment at Bart’s will enable clinical and personal development.You should be able to provide evidence working in a patient-centred way, and value supporting children and families through the wider patient journey. The role demands at least 3 years’ dedicated experience of working in paediatric audiology (in all areas) including in electro-physiological assessment as well as (re) habilitation. You should be registered with RCCP, or be registered/close to registration as a clinical scientist with HCPC. The postholder will be expected to work closely with the established advanced clinicians as well as the wider clinical/non-clinical team to support the development of the service. About the service: The multi-professional paediatric audiology team is well-integrated, mutually supportive and keen to develop excellent services together. The post-holder would also be part of the wider audiology team, a service of around 100 diverse staff (including screeners), within the forward-thinking Community Health Services, Barts Health NHS Trust.
