Pay: KR3 Start Date: Immediate We are looking for anenthusiastic, highly motivated, well-organised Teaching Assistant tojoin our successful small school. Our most recent Good Ofsted took place inSeptember 2018. Monkton CEP Schoolis a partner in the Federationof Minster and Monkton Church of England PrimarySchools. This is a temporary, term timeonly post for 32 and a half hours per week. It will comprise of 27 and a halfhours as a Teaching Assistant and 5 hours a week as a Mid Day MealsSupervisor. This post willrun until 31st August 2022, as it is linked tospecific funding and children. The successful candidate willstart as soon as possible after the interview and Safeguarding checks have beencompleted. The successful candidate will:Ideally be an experiencedTeachingAssistant with a proven track record, who has recent experience of asustained and successful placement in the classroom, however training will beprovided for the relevant parts of the roleBe committed to team working andleading by exampleBe able to demonstratetheability to follow the teachers plans, to aid the children in completing tasksand raise their attainmentBe able to feedback to theteacher the childrens achievements and challenges.Be able to complete informalassessments and observations during lesson timeand group activitiesBe able to engage, motivate andsupport pupils, with flair, sensitivity and with consistently highexpectationsBe able to demonstrate positivebehaviour management strategiesCandidate will need a goodstandard of English and Maths ability (GCSEGrade C or above is desirable), inorder to support the learning of our children.
