Job Description

Pay: KR3 Start Date: Immediate This is a temporary positionwhilst funding is in place We are looking for an enthusiasticand inspirational experienced Teaching Assistant to join our school as a keyworker for a pupil with special educational needs. If youlike the challenge ofsupporting a child with their needs as well as being dedicated and passionateabout learning and teaching, then this could be the position for you. We areoffering a real opportunity to make a positive impact in our school. The role willinclude working withindividuals and small groups (both within and outside the classroom) to deliverinterventions. You will need to have a high levelof English and Mathematical skills and experience of improving outcomes forpupils both academically and emotionally.We are looking for someone who has avast amount of experience in working with children who have a high level ofneed(s), this may include experience in a specialist setting. You will need tobe adaptable and able to react quickly to any situation to supportchildren inremoving any barriers to their learning. We are looking for people who aredetermined to secure the absolute best for our pupils and will work hard toensure children achieve everything they are capable of. You will need to beable to work from Mondayto Friday during the school daily hours(8.45am-3:15pm), but the position may require being in school a bit before orslightly after to assist in sharing details with parents and carers. This is afull time post during term time.
