Job Description

Step Teachers are working closely with a "Good" Ofsted-rated Primary School in Tottenham to find an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant to join their team on afull-time basis starting in April 2024.This school is eager to find an adaptableTeachingAssistant who may be providing general support in the classroom or working more closely with small groups or individual students as required.This school prides itself on its ambitious, encouraging and friendly educational environment and is eager to find a Teaching Assistant who is prepared to get involved and build positive relationships with their pupils. Teaching Assistant - Role:

  • Making a positive impact on the lives of children with diverse learning needs.
  • Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivery of activities.
  • Supporting the development of children’s language and communication skills.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and providing pastoral support to children when required.
  • Providing feedback to parents and carers on children’s progress and achievements.
Teaching Assistant - Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Recent experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
