We are currently collaborating with a highly regarded, outstanding-rated SEN school in Brent that requires an exceptional individual likeyou to join their team.As an SEN Teaching Assistant in this large and outstanding school, you will have the privilege of working closely with ASC students in small class sizes of approximately 10 students per class. These students may exhibit challenging behaviours, and your expertiseand patience will be vital in providing them with the support and guidance they require to succeed academically and socially. Your compassionate nature, patience, and understanding will be crucial in creating a safe and inclusive environment for thesestudents to thrive in.As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:- Providing exceptional support to ASC students in their academic and social development- Collaborating closely with the teacher to plan and deliver personalised lessons and activities tailored to the students needs- Offering one-to-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance- Encouraging independence and fostering a positive learning atmosphere within the classroom- Monitoring and tracking student progress, providing regular feedback to the teacher- Assisting with personal care tasks, such as toileting and feeding, when required- Working collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to ensure optimal support for the studentsIf you have prior experience working with ASC students and possess a genuine passion for special education, we would love to hear from you.
