Job Description

Teaching & Learning AdministratorLocation: E14 & WC1H (Hybrid working available for E14)Salary: £16.36 - £20.12 p/HourContract: 1 to 3 months depending on locationOur client:Our client are one of the largest universities in the world and were established in 1826. Theyre currently hiring for 3 Teaching & Learning Administrators based in E14 & WC1H on a 1 to 3 month contract (depending on location)Main purpose of the role:The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support for the admissions processes for the designated postgraduate programmes. You will also provide further support to the teaching and learning activities of postgraduate programmes.Main duties & responsibilities:

  • Work with the respective Programme Directors & Administrators to agree admissions processes and service levels
  • Develop and enhance systems for processing postgraduate applications for the MSc Business analytics and Msc finance programmes
  • Process postgraduate applications
  • Update admissions spreadsheets for the designated programmes as per the agreed process
  • Manage the maths test and other entry tests including sending invites, monitoring completed tests etc
  • Produce written and statistical admissions reports
  • Support the development of FAQs and canned responses for managing student queries
  • Assist the Programme team in planning offer numbers to ensure the applicant target number set by Faculty is met
Desired Skills / Knowledge / Experience:
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (including Maths & English language)
  • Educated to A level standard
  • Computer literate with strong skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Excellent planning, organisational and decision-making skills
  • Ability to meet time-critical schedules whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
