Job Description

Starting in January 2022Applications are welcome from experienced teachers or ECTs. The School offers an excellent ECT induction programme. About the DepartmentThe whole Science department achievesoutstanding outcomes for its pupils and takes pride in being creative and dynamic in its teaching and enrichment. Pupils are taught separate Biology, Chemistry and Physics classes from Year 9, by a subject specialist. There is a strong up-take of Triple Scienceat GCSE Science. A-Level Sciences, including Chemistry, have a high take-up and achievement is promoted at all levels; every year a significant number of students secure places to study Sciences at university. The department takes an active lead in the whole-schoolSTEM programme, including CREST Awards.The Science department contributes significantly to the St Marylebone Teaching School and the department is the lead subject area for school to school support in the Triborough and across the Alliance, CPD and in deliveryof SLP courses.
