Job Description

Veritas have a fantastic opportunity for a Economics and Business Studies Teacher with QTS to join a friendly, inclusive school in Lambeth making a difference to the lives of their diverse student community.Start date: ASAPKey Responsibilities of a Economics and Business Studies Teacher:

  • Design and deliver broad, balanced lessons that align with the curriculum and cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
  • To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher/form tutor.
  • To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development and enhancement of the curriculum.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Have successful experience teaching at secondary level (KS3/KS4)
  • Have experience of the National Curriculum requirements at KS3 and KS4, and of writing lesson plans, developing resources and assessing students work.
