Major Duties :• To be a subject matter on tasks associated with NAV reviews - including but not limited to fee review, performance fees and NAV calculation review • Dealing with all exceptions within the compliance engine, investigating the investment breachesand resolving all the inadvertent breaches. • Communicating all the true investment breaches to the Country Depositary for action and monitor all investment breaches to conclusion • Setting up of new funds into the compliance system and investment guidelinesor test rules within system for compliance check • Review the units in issue reconciliation performed by fund accounting against transfer agency records • Production & review of fund accounting stock reconciliations to custody, prime broker or external valuationreports • Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy of the reports • Proactively manage workflow, adhering to agreed turnaround times • Oversight of the NAV Exception Management system to ensure it is used effectively as control check. • These duties willbe performed for traditional, hedge, property and private equity funds. • Ensures expectations on SDs/ Checklists/ Daily reports and monthly reports are adhered to. Knowledge :• Understanding of fund services functions (e.g, NAV/ Transfer Agency/ Reconciliations)and various components that go into it. • Accuracy and attention to details at all times and effectively manage deadlines • Ability to work independently and cooperatively within a team environment • Proven subject matter expert or referral point for complexissues • Must be resilient to pressure and have the ability to adapt quickly • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with internal and external parties • Very strong attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to understand and deal with complexissues and make recommendations for appropriate course of action. • Knowledge of the regulatory requirements for Irish and UK funds (Preferred). • Knowledge of the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) (Preferred). Experience :• Minimum 4years of experience in the financial service industry • Knowledge of asset types and asset management • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for Irish, UK funds and AIFMD (preferred) Working with Us: As a Northern Trust partner, greater achievements await.
