Job Description

Our Head Office Tax Function is looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic individual to join their team. In this role you will utilise your natural enthusiasm, impeccable attention to detail and your multi-tasking skills. This is an ideal role fora positive and enthusiastic team player who thrives in a dynamic and fast paced environmentWhat youll do

  • Responsible for assistance with indirect taxes (Mainly VAT)
  • Providing daily support for the Tax department including collection and analysis of data for indirect taxes returns
  • Communication with the various Tax teams
  • Communication with our stakeholders within the business and international counterparts in Germany
  • Managing incoming telephone calls, emails and post
  • Help with managing diaries, schedules and travel arrangements
  • Coordinating the teams in the office
  • Assisting the team with ad hoc tasks and providing administrative support
What youll need
  • Experience working in a tax department focusing on VAT
  • Background in retail would be an advantage
  • A genuine passion for performing tasks effectively, efficiently and to a high standard
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines and a varied workload
  • Confident communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • PC literacya good working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • IT literacyknowledge of SAP desirable
  • Self-motivation and a proactive mind-set with a can-do attitude and the ability to work on projects and solve problems independently
  • German language is desirable but not essential
