This global organisation specialising in software solutions is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant - Compliance - for an initial 4 to 5 month contract. With stunning UK head offices located in central London this is a hybrid role with 2 days/week in theiroffices.Duties • Responsible for the review of indirect tax filings prepared by the Shared Services Centre• Ensure new indirect tax registrations are set up to report for day 1 in compliance with local rules• Preparing and reviewing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for all indirect tax accounts every month• Monthly assessment of global indirect tax registration obligations from the sale of digital services and managing the associated reserves/accruals• Monitors tax legislation updates globally and assesses the impact on the business• Provides periodic training and materials to AP/AR teams and helps other business units stay informed about the tax implications of their operations• Managing technical indirect tax queries from the business regarding billing, procurement and new product linesQualifications:Tax/ Accountancy (CTA/ ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA)Benefits
