Job Description

Our client a global organisation with complex technical resourcing requirements seeks a Talent Management Consultant with proven delivery experience of improving, redesigning, and implementing the process and management of technology within a similar organisation.This role is a hybrid contract position - candidates can be home-based from any location - the clients sites include London, Manchester, Cardiff & Edinburgh.Talent Management Consultant - Key skills

  • An outcome, focused, energetic, hands-on and highly experienced consultant who has a deep understanding of what good technology skills looks like to assess potential fit, and the underlying technology landscape. The consultant must be highly experiencedand adept at finding high quality resource; and come with knowledge of existing technologists and reliable international outsources.
  • High degrees of transparency. We expect the consultant to create an easily understandable, well communicated, and regularly updated/live resource plan where any stakeholder or member of the team can understand utilisation and resource booked.
  • Collaborative - we need the consultant to ensure any new processes work well for existing stakeholders.
  • Pace - a new process implemented after 6-weeks.
  • Experience of implementing global resourcing processes that leverage near and off-shore talent.
  • A strong network of digital and technology talent in primarily Microsoft technologies (.net, etc.), Business Analysis, Delivery Leadership, User Experience, and Quality Assurance.
  • Practical experience in resource management, demand matching, pipeline creation and tracking.
  • Familiarity with Human Resources, UK government and global resource practice (e.g. sufficient understanding of tax and regulatory environments for key locations)
Talent Management Consultant - Experience
  • Proven demonstrable experience of working with our clients commercial business, technology senior leadership team and Head of Applications to oversee and streamline an existing arrangement with an existing overseas technology partner and managed serviceprovider.
  • Explore and develop new resource pipelines, working within the constraints the company operates.
  • Review and, where necessary, redesign the existing technology resourcing process, to enable our client to effectively use multiple agencies to build teams with contingent labour.
  • Develop leaner, agile processes for on-boarding resource, working closely with the particular division relating to the education sector, HR, Procurement and Technology Leadership team.
  • Challenge certain cost constraints, whilst finding innovative and agile ways to remove the bureaucratic burden around talent management.
  • Find, hire and on-board an experienced, permanent technology talent manager as part of a new Operating Model being developed for the technology directorate. Until this happens, we expect the consultant to be the central point within our technology directoratefor all day-to-day contingent resource queries and requests.
