Job Description

Recruitment Hunters are recruiting for a Recruitment Officer / (Talent Acquisition Officer) for their Higher Education client based in London NW1. Our client are looking for an experienced Recruitment Talent Acquisition Professional to start ASAP on a 12 Months Fixed Term Contract, with possibilities after the FTC.This role will suit an experienced Recruiter who has experience of recruiting /resourcing. Higher Education Sector Desirable). People who also have a big interest in Data Science & Research would really suit this interesting forward thinkingfirm. Following on from a huge injection of funding into this firm, the university are rapidly recruiting across the board, making this particular role vital. Backgrounds that would also suit would be Resourcing, HR Recruitment, Talent or Agency Recruitment.Reporting to the Recruitment Business Partner in the Talent Acquisition team and will have a strong advisory focus as well as key elements of exceptional customer service. The post holder will be responsible for managing the whole recruitment experience,from vacancy brief to offer as well as setting the first impression of the Institute with candidates, external and internal stakeholders, from peers to Programme Directors.The Talent Acquisition Officer will be responsible for providing the full range recruitment services and deliver comprehensive recruitment guidance and support for the University. You will be first point of contact for candidates and linemanagers on a wide range of recruitment queries, including the review of job descriptions, salary and immigration queries. You will be responsible for timely, accurate and efficient interview coordination, logistics, and record-keeping, while working closelywith the Recruitment Business Partner and the Resourcing Advisers to deliver efficient and engaging support to both research and opsMain Responsibilities: - Recruitment Officer Resourcing and Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the end to end recruitment and selection cycle, from approval to job offer;
  • Responsible for accurate job adverts, and job posting on the companys website and relevant publications;
  • Organise interview schedules and interview packs, meeting and greeting candidates
  • Advise candidates and internal stakeholders with regards to specific job postings;
  • Manage the recruitment mailbox and deal with applicants and candidates queries;
  • Manage the candidate experience from job queries to offer stage, ensuring best practice is followed;
  • Manage the Offer Stage and including salary negotiations and exception forms;
  • Run job evaluations for new positions and for role reviews
  • Ensure offer letters and contracts are issued correctly and promptly
  • Research new job boards and monitor advert performances
  • Responsible for the data entry and document management tasks associated with the recruitment and the new starter process;
Visa and Immigration: TA
  • Support with Visa & Immigration queries and keeping track of visa holders requirements;
  • Manage the administrative process to request and obtain certificate of sponsorships (CoS)
  • Ensure new starters with visa requirements have obtained and submitted updated right to work documents prior start date
  • Provides guidance and advice on recruitment process to hiring managers and ensures best practice is followed;
  • Work closely with the HR & Operations team to ensure the smooth handover of new starters;
  • Responsible for the creation of KPIs and reports;
  • Provide input collaborate on process review and improvement;
  • Supporting with ad hoc projects and EDI goals, attend working groups to ensure policy improvement;
  • Keeps up to date with relevant Employment Law updates;
  • Monitoring the coordination of admin tasks
Experience Required:- Talent Acquisition - Recruitment Essential* Graduate or HR experience (MUST)* Background from the Higher Education Sector (DESIRABLE)* Internal Recruitment, Resourcing, Talent Acquisition or HR Recruitment Experience (MUST)* Experienced in the End to End Recruitment Process (DESIRABLE)* Solid Recruitment / HR Administration / Processes experience (MUST)This Talent Acquisition & Resourcing Officer role, is on a 12 Months Fixed Term Contract position based in London N1.
