Systems/Network Engineer London (Some remote working available) £45,000 to £55,000 + Holiday + Pension + Private HealthcareExcellent opportunity for a technically sound Systems Engineer to join a one-of-a-kind industrial firm as they continue to build their capacity and continue to dominate the European market. This company has established offices in London and Madrid and across South East Asia with 2 operational plants in Spain and more in production in the Netherlands and France. Their overall mission is to lead the chemical recycling industry and solve the global plastic problem. They want to have in house expertise as they look to build out a new IT & OT Team where you will work alongside the already established automation team. In this role you will have the opportunity to be involved in a project from scratch getting a view into the whole process and building your engineering skillset rapidly becoming an integral part of the company. The main tasks will be to set up and implement standards, manage databases, maintain servers and establish structures and new systems as well as maintain and troubleshoot the expanding architecture connecting the companies IT & OT systems. The ideal candidate will be a Systems Engineer with experience writing code with Python, R or VBA. Understanding of network security standards is beneficial. An interest in data analytics is also desirable.
