Job Description

A major Banking Institution with offices Worldwide is looking for a new Systems Maintenance and Delivery Associate to join their team in London.Client DetailsSystems Maintenance and Delivery Associate - BankingThe organisation is a major Banking Institution with offices worldwideDescriptionSystems Maintenance and Delivery Associate - BankingOverviewThis role will be to assist in the maintenance and support of business application and operating systems deployed within or accessed by the Banks Finance, Risk and Trading areas. The individual will provide both first line user support to users locatedin multiple geographical locations as well as operating system maintenance (patching, upgrades, task scheduling & monitoring).Assist in the specification and conceptual design to address user identified issues related to business technology.Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Maintenance and first-line support of Branch systems including Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning, Avantgard Integrity and Axiom
  • Assistance with the maintenance and support of pre-trade systems and related interfaces including AxeTrader, Bloomberg, MarketAxess and TradeWeb including access control, security static and client static updates
  • Perform constant monitoring of BT helpdesk alerts per visual and email notifications;
  • Maintenance of existing system and process documentation within the Financial Systems Wiki;
  • Development, maintenance and support of in-house software, including related SQL databases;
  • Business Continuity Process (BCP) duties include maintenance of all BCP documentation; development and maintenance of call cascades;
  • Organising and facilitating regular BCP tests and collating feedback thereafter.
  • DR Testing. The individual will be expected to travel to the DR site located in Sevenoaks whenever DR Testing is required.
  • SIT and Programme testing on behalf of the systems development team
ProfileSystems Maintenance and Delivery Associate - BankingRequired Knowledge & Experience:
  • An undergraduate degree or similar qualification in Computer Sciences.
  • A knowledge of database and other programming languages. The following skills will be required:
  • Object-orientated programming in C# or similar;
  • Knowledge of Database design and SQL skills, specifically T-SQL and PL/SQL.
  • JIRA or similar task manager skills
  • Experience with pre-trade banking platforms (Bloomberg, Refinitiv)
The following skills would be an advantage:
  • Knowledge of or exposure to Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning, Oracle E- Business Suite , Axiom and/or Avantgard Integrity;
  • Exposure to financial modelling, financial products or banking;
  • Exposure to Business Continuity Planning
Job OfferA basic salary of up to £55,000 (dependent upon experience)BonusExcellent company benefits including private health care and 15% pension contributionHybrid working (2 days a week in the office)
