Job Description

About the roleWe have a fabulous opportunity for a motivated and energetic self-starter to join the Sustainability Team at DS Smith . This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to be part of a dynamic and growing business and put their own stamp on the role!This role is at the heart of our small and friendly Group Sustainability team at DS Smith, managing the information going into and out of the team and being the first point of contact for many internal and external partners. You will also be responsiblefor delivery of projects, supporting the DS Smith Charitable Foundation and taking the lead on selected university-related projects with the Ellen MacArthur Foundation - an exciting prospect! To succeed in this role, you need to be confident in ambiguous situations,be highly organised and be able to engage effectively with people at all levels.Using your experience of managing data, you will produce monthly reports to share with internal teams and create insightful presentations for the wider business. The successful candidate will not hesitate to suggest ways to improve and streamline currentprocesses.So, if you have a curious mindset, are detail-orientated and looking for a new challenge within the Sustainability field - then we might be looking for you!About you

  • Degree in related field
  • At least 2 years experience in corporate sustainability
  • Project management experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Able to work independently but also comfortable building strong working relationships with colleagues around the business
  • Proactive, detail-orientated & solutions focused
