Job Description

Are you an individual with strong stakeholder engagement skills paired with an understanding of sustainability Are you looking to help an organisation implement and integrate climate change and sustainability considerations into their business linesThen please continue reading. Our client, a global financial institution, is looking to appoint a Sustainability Senior Manager/Director to join their team in London. You will be responsible for developing, delivering, and implementing the firms sustainabilitystrategy alongside engaging with internal and external sustainability forums and senior leadership to implement solutions to challenges facing the firm.What you will receiveYou will be provided with the opportunity to join an organisation that is prioritising sustainability as a key part of their corporate strategy. Having established a long-term ambition to progress the sustainability agenda within the business, the firm willprovide you with the opportunity to collaborate with different business units and champion how sustainability is prioritised across the firm.Moreover, you would have the opportunity to develop new internal projects for the firm on pertinent topics such as nature and biodiversity. Alongside this, the successful candidate would also get external client exposure, and you would play a part in developingcreative solutions to solve issues associated with climate change.What you will do Reporting directly to the Head of Sustainability, you will:

  • Support in the development of the firms multi-year, business-wide sustainability strategy.
  • Work alongside internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, to integrate climate change considerations into daily business practices.
  • Define and develop strategic initiatives associated with nature, biodiversity and climate change.
  • Lead the oversight of external sustainability reporting and disclosures.
