Job Description

Surveyor (Maintenance)Up to £45,700London BridgeWe are recruiting a Surveyor (Maintenance)At the Hyde Group, our vision is to provide a great home for everyone. As a Maintenance Surveyor, youll play a crucial role in inspecting,assessing, and overseeing repairs and maintenance across our housing stock. Youll work closely with our maintenance teams, contractors, and residents to ensure timely and cost-effective solutions.Duties and responsibilities

  • Conducting property inspections to identify maintenance and repair needs.
  • Preparing detailed survey reports and schedules of work.
  • Coordinating and overseeing maintenance projects from inception to completion.
  • Liaising with contractors and suppliers to obtain quotes and manage work schedules.
  • Providing technical advice and support to colleagues and residents.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Skills and experience
  • Full UK Driving Licence with own vehicle required for this role. (mileage and fuel paid for by Hyde)
  • Previous experience working as a Surveyor within.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective collaboration and team work skills.
