Job Description

Supporter Services ManagerRef: 44488Location: Pentonville Road, LondonSalary: Circa £35,750 per annum (Inc. London allowance)Hours: 37.5 hours per week, full timeContract type: PermanentAbout the roleSense is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as the Supporter Services Manager. This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week at our head office in Kings Cross, London.The Supporter Services Manager is a is a business critical role at the heart of Sense’s vibrant and innovative Engagement Directorate. You will lead a dedicated team of Supporter Services Officers, ensuring every supporter of Sense receives excellent customer service. You will achieve this by ensuring our processes are effective and efficient, making sure the personal development of your team is continuous. Within the directorate, you will be a high profile figure with a deep understanding of the wide range of opportunities for engagement that we offer the public.Early priorities for the role will include:

  • Establishing strong working relationships both internally and with third party agencies.
  • Developing a reporting mechanism to fairly and objectively assess team and individual output.
  • Clarifying team and individual responsibilities to ensure equitable distribution of workload.
  • About you We want to hear from you if youve got experience of:
  • Working in supporter or customer service setting.
  • Reviewing and developing processes.
  • An extensive knowledge of working in the charity sector.
  • A strong understanding the importance of centralised data systems and their impact on supporter stewardship and retention.
  • Management is a pivotal part of the role; the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to lead, coach, energise and motivate the team; carrying out line management responsibilities to ensure that the team are performing at their optimal level.This role is based in our Head Offices in central London and there is also significant opportunity for remote working.About usFor everyone living with complex disabilities.
