Job Description

Supporter Data ManagerLeading UK youth charityFully remote or London based2 years fixed term contract - likely to become permanentUp to £40,000 + benefitsThis is an opportunity to join a leading organisation to improve data use and fundraising performance to directly help young people across the UK. If you are an experienced, technically skilled and communicative data expert, this one is for you!Your role will involve:Work with Fundraising teams and lead delivery of a portfolio of activities, including supporter journeys, selections, imports, exports, mass changes and segmentation and quality.Balance competing deadlines whilst maintaining the highest level of quality and accuracy in the activities undertaken.Promote the understanding and effective use of the supporter data and databases through training, support, documentation, and workshops.Inspire, develop, and line manage the Supporter Database Executive to support the effective running of the Fundraising Department.Support the Senior Supporter Data Manager in driving fundraising priorities and developing a roadmap for data projects (including the move to a new CRM) to improve the infrastructure.Drive enhanced data quality through developing models and related processes to standardise and embed improved data capture in priority areas.Design, develop and maintain data retention processes to improve compliance across the Fundraising Department.Collaborate with the Finance and Fundraising teams to maintain and make improvements to the end-to-end fundraising pipeline management process.Work closely with colleagues in the Supporter Data and Insight team to undertake tasks that support fundraisers in delivering data driven fundraising.Use your strong knowledge of working with coding language(s) for data analysis e.g., SQL, R, Python (SQL primarily used for this role)Use your experience of using business reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Metabase so that you can build reports in our business reporting tool (currently Tableau)Use your experience of working on a data migration project To support the smooth transition to a new CRM platformWork with your knowledge of GDPR principles To ensure we comply with data compliantly and in line with the latest regulations.Perks:
