Job Description

We are delighted to annouce that we are heading up on the recruitment for Supported Housing Officers for Centrepoint, one of the biggest Homeless Charties across the UK.Centrepoints vision is to promote a vibrant culture, demonstrating their values of integrity, energy, humility, entrepreneurial, accountable, and focused outlook on supporting our young people.To work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team that works with young people to identify and meet their personal, social, learning and work needs.You will be based in one of Centrepoints Hostels in the Havering borough.What will your responsibilities be

  • Supporting Young People Aged 16-25.
  • Helping Young People with Independence and Assisting their needs.
  • What Housing Benefits they are entitled to and Monitoring there Rent Arrears.
  • Day to Day work within a Hostel.
  • Recording of Data.
  • Risk Assessments.
  • Supporting a Caseload.
    • What are we looking for
  • A candidate that has worked for more than three years within the Sector.
  • Previously worked for a Council, Housing Association, or a Charity.
  • Previously worked with Young People aged 16-25
  • Worked within a Hostel.
  • Transferrable skills from previous roles.
  • NVQ Qualification - Not Essential.
  • DBS essential
