We believe in engaging, enabling and empowering the people we support to make positive choices, take advantage of opportunities and live the lives they want.About the RoleAn exciting employment opportunity has come up in a new vibrant Supported Living Service based in the London Borough of Hackney.* A Unique service which specializes in supporting adults with autism and/or associated complex mental health conditions. The service will be providing bespoke support packages to individuals living in their individual flats in the London borough of Hackney.* It is a service that offers a good foundation to kick-start your career in implementing psychological intervention by working in liaison with a multidisciplinary team of: Occupational Therapists, Consultant Psychiatrist, Psychologists, Social Workers and General Practitioners.* We offer Autism advanced training, Positive behavior support and Non-Abusive Physical and Psychological Intervention. Additionally ongoing Clinical supervision provided to individuals interested in progressing to apply the theoretical knowledge gained into practice.* Working with Outward, provides opportunities for career progression for its staff working through from frontline support through to management levelAutism Spectrum Conditions are recognised as conditions which require a specific working practice.Maybe you are studying for a Psychology degree or planning to do so in the future, this role will give you the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of supporting customers with Autism.
