Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant or beginning your career within the Education sectorAre looking for a new role with a flexible working pattern or available for part-time or full-time workAre you keen to support Primary aged children in EYFS, KS1 or KS2If your answer is yes to these questions, then this particular role of a Primary Teaching Assistant is for you!In various boroughs of North London, such as Brent, Camden, Barnet and Harrow, Primary schools are in need of Supply Teaching Assistants in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classrooms on an ad hoc or short term or long-term basis.For this role of a Primary Teaching Assistant:-You will need to have some knowledge and understanding of Development Matters (2021) and the National Curriculum (2014)-Experience of working or interacting with children within EYFS or KS1-Have a Level 2 or 3 in Childrens Care, Learning and Development or relevant Teaching Assistant diploma, is desirable-Have previous employed or voluntary work experience within a school or nursery setting is desirable-Be supportive, nurturing, empathetic and friendly-Display clear and strong communication skills-Speak fluent English -Have Grade C or above in GCSE English and Maths-Have an Enhanced DBS on the DBS Update Service-Provide 2 references from within the past 3 yearsIf this role of Primary Teaching Assistant sparks your interest, please apply by contacting Sally Roche at Career Teachers.
