Job Description

Regular, local teaching work available for Primary Teachers in the Greenwich area. Career Teachers have partnered with a large number of Greenwich based Primary Schools, who are in need of reliable and flexible Teachers to cover for absences.The Primary Schools are based in Abbey Wood, Plumstead, Thamesmead, Charlton and surrounding areas.With so many Education Agencies in London, why choose Career Teachers

  • Local Work
We know its frustrating to be asked to travel to the other side of London. We do not do this. We are specifically looking for Teachers based within Greenwich or neighbouring boroughs, for local work. You will find that you are going back to the same schools,so they will become very familiar to you.
  • Fair and Transparent Pay
Our Supply Teachers are paid up to £150 per day. Long term positions will come with a higher rate of pay, and paid to scale after 12 weeks (or often from the start of your long term role!)
  • CPD
We offer free CPD, run by a highly experienced educator. Recent topics have included Personal Wellness in the Workplace, Positive Behaviour Management and SEN Within Mainstream Schools. We hold these sessions on a regular basis, and you are very welcometo attend all of them, if you wish. They get excellent feedback.
  • Advanced Bookings
The majority of our supply work is booked in advance, meaning that you will often find your week is full, before it even starts. We do also have sickness cover available on the morning, if you do have any extra days available.We also offer you the choice of being paid PAYE or via an umbrella company.We are looking for qualified Primary Teachers, who are looking for flexible supply opportunities locally to home.In order to be considered, you need to hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), and be available for at least 2 days per week.Please submit your CV and we will be in touch.At Career Teachers we are fully compliant with Agency Worker Regulations, ensuring you receive equal treatment for pay and conditions after a 12 week qualifying period.
