Supply QA ManagerThe companyI am delighted to work with a growing beverages company with a rich history in the industry. My client have a strong global presence and can offer a fast paced and exciting environment in which to further develop your career.About the roleThis role is ideal for someone who has circa 7 years+ strong demonstrable quality management experience in a previous role. Applicants must have brilliant ability to work proactively to create supplier engagement plans and increase supply quality. The position will include up to 40% global travel to conduct supplier audits and work onsite with suppliers/ co-packers.Ongoing training will be provided where necessary.Key responsibilities- To ensure a comprehensive QMS system in established and maintained for supply- Identify/ understand gaps in current system and implement changes- Conduct QA and Food Safety audits- Train and coach suppliers, and wider quality team- Investigate and manage customer complaints related to supplier qualityRequired experience;- Minimum BSc degree in a Food Science or Technical subject- Applicants must have exposure to agricultural product regulations (e.g. botanicals, tea, coffee)- An understanding of EU pesticide law would be advantageous- Ideally 7 years + work experience in senior QA role- Previous experience with supplier quality and external audits- Ability for international travel up to 40%- Strong communication and interpersonal skillsKeywords:QA, quality, ISO, SOP, senior, expert, manager, EU, UK, legal, law, food, beverages, crop, agriculture, pesticide, coffee, botanical, tea, drinks, GMP, manufacturer, global, officer, lead, associate.Harris Lord is acting as a recruitment agency for this role Required skills
