Job Description

This is an exciting role for candidates looking to develop their career within supply chain. Working within a small team in the growing UK operation of an international FMCG business, you will have a breadth of responsibility across the end to end supplychain.You will be responsible for managing the flow of product from production facilities through to customer delivery, collaborating with internal functions, 3PL providers and retail customers.Key responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with internal production and sales teams to ensure an optimum customer delivery service
  • Manage external relationships with 3PL and shipping providers, together with key retail customers
  • Oversee supply chain planning, forecasting and stock levels, analysing performance, seasonal trends
  • Develop and implement supply chain processes to optimise performance, cost effectiveness and sustainability efficiencies
  • Delivery of outstanding customer experience
Skills and Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within fast-paced FMCG operations (food and drink desirable), supplying retail customers
  • Strong supply chain planning and forecasting skills
  • Hands-on and systematic approach with demonstrated ability to implement logistical changes and achieve outcomes
  • Ability to work effectively in fast paced environments, within evolving operations
  • Problem solving and decision making skills
  • Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams
  • Negotiation and influencing skills
  • IT literacy, skills in Excel and ERP system experience
  • Line management and supervisory experience
