Youll prioritize sourcing based on numerous variables, including product fornew projects, product need-by dates, services and incremental sales opportunities. Youll also demonstrate your leadership qualities and an ability to be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment with the ability to build relationshipswith internal and external clients. If youre ethical, professional, and proactive, weve got a Procurement Associate position just for you!Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist with the overall strategy to maximize supply chain valueMaintain clear and consistent communication with suppliers, vendors throughout the procurement life cycleProactively engage suppliers in identifying potential issues, resolutions and opportunitiesDetermine and enforce key supply chain/purchase KPIsCollaborate with business partners to ensure specifications are executed on-time and as agreedBecome a subject matter expert on our business model, processes and operations, and remain up to date on industry and market changesSupport the Supply Chain team in performing economic research and prepares analysesOrganize, design, and develop proposals customized for geographical areas or vertical markets.Other duties as assigned and modified at managers discretion.Manage Day-to-Day Sourcing OperationsSupporting the companys end-to-end sourcing operationsCoordinate and oversee on-going distribution activities across UK & Europe for all Kitchens Operations.Cultivate External & Internal PartnershipsEvaluate existing and potential suppliers across multiple criteria, including price, quality, service, availability, reliability, and selectionCoordinate and utilize a team-buying strategy across multiple spend areas and concepts to deliver opportunities which include, but are not limited to, best in class quality, service, and cost.Act as an Industry & Market ExpertComplete appropriate research on the prospective clients business and equipment needsOrganize, design, and develop proposals customized for geographical areas or vertical markets for the various kitchens operating models.Spark Innovation, Improvement, & New ServicesResearch new products and services and analyze the attributes of each to determine if they support company initiatives and business plansImprove sourcing activities by analyzing spending, while supplying partnerships and new possibilitiesWhat We Want from YouBachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceLogistics, supply chain, procurement, or product management experience or equivalent; F&B and Hospitality preferred.Excellent written and oral communication skillsStrong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookOutstanding analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh standards of excellence and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.Poise, presence, and professionalismResourceful, able to think on feet and independently solve complex problems under ambiguous conditionsMust have a calm demeanor and cope well under pressure in a rapidly changing environmentExcellent team skills, pro-active self-starter with an approachable "can do" attitudeExperience working with restaurant industry professionals, preferredFluency in an additional language is preferred, especially French and Germany.What Well ProvideFlexible working and autonomy of schedule and task completionA competitive bonus structureIf we win, you win.Medical insuranceOpportunities to develop, working with a personal development plan so we can help you achieve your goals.Ongoing and regular support, training and coachingPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Frequently operate small office equipment such as a computer, calculator, and copier/printerWill remain in seated position for extended periods of timeWorking ConditionsWork is performed indoors for extended periods of time, including up to the entire duration of shiftExtensive time in front of a computer screen, data entry and analysisREEF Technology is an equal opportunity employer, and we value diversity at our company.
